Exciting news – the development application for our redevelopment project has been approved!

Temporary fencing has been erected around the Wollombi Road properties this week, in readiness for the demolition work to commence on Monday, January 20. This work is expected to be completed mid-February. Construction is expected to start in March.

As we prepare for the demolition of our Wollombi Road properties to make way for the expansion, our former tenants are all settling into their new premises. Cessnock Laundromat has relocated to 1 Edgeworth Street (the former Endeavour Industries site); Gourmet Pizza Cessnock has moved to 85 Vincent Street, Bhutra Spa Thai Massage is now upstairs at 108 Vincent Street, and Dr Andrew Martin is now at 55 Cumberland Street. We would like to thank these businesses for their cooperation and wish them all the best for the future.

  • A new 150-seat restaurant, plus the relocation and expansion of the existing bistro and café with indoor and outdoor seating for up to 240 diners, as well as the addition of wood-fired pizzas and a gelato bar.
  • An expansion to the Club’s main lounge and sports bar.
  • A new children’s playground.
  • An additional 58 car parking spaces.

Pending DA approval, work is expected to commence by early 2025 and be fully completed around early 2026.
