The Rotary Club of Cessnock
Meets at Cessnock Leagues Club every Thursday at 6pm.
A small but busy club, the Rotary Club of Cessnock always welcomes new members. The club focuses on supporting the local community and Rotary International. Cessnock Wine Country Lions Club

Cessnock Combined Probus Club
Meets at Cessnock Leagues Club on the fourth Tuesday of the month from 10.30am to 12.30pm (new visitors are encouraged to arrive by 10.15am).
Probus offers a welcoming space for retired and semi-retired individuals who appreciate fun, friendship, and fellowship. Activities include monthly coffee mornings, lunches throughout the Hunter Valley, and regular bus trips to fascinating destinations. Being part of Probus means making new friends, embracing lifelong learning, and feeling a strong sense of community connection.

Retired Mineworkers Association – Cessnock branch
Meets second Monday of February, April, June, August and October at 10.30am; plus annual Christmas lunch in November, and social outings and fundraising throughout the year. Cessnock and Wine Country Toastmasters Club
Meets on Mondays at 7pm (excluding public holidays). Members practise public speaking in a friendly environment, helping each other to develop greater confidence, communication skills and leadership capabilities. Cessnock City U3A (University of the Third Age)
Cessnock City U3A holds activities for retired and semi-retired people at various venues around Cessnock every week. Regular activities at Cessnock Leagues Club include games and cards on the first Wednesday of the month from 10.30am to 11.30am; and coffee and chat on the third Wednesday of the month from 10am to 11am. Meets on the third Thursday of the month at 10.30am for 11am for a luncheon with a guest speaker. Cessnock VIEW Club is an important part of The Smith Family, raising funds to support disadvantaged Australian school students through the Learning For Life program. Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service Cessnock Support Group
Meets at Wine Country Motor Inn (next to Cessnock Leagues Club) on the first Thursday of the month at 6pm.
