Cessnock Leagues Club Function Centre offers a unique approach to functions and events in the Hunter Valley with an extensive menu offering of local produce and wine for you to choose from. The centre has a dedicated function bar with outdoor areas to enjoy your pre-event beverages and entertainment. At full capacity the Knipe room can seat up to 250 people or cater for a cocktail party of up to 350 people. This room also has a stage with professional lighting and curtains, in-built data projectors and screens as well as a state-of-the-art sound system. There are smaller room options available to accommodate more intimate occasions and dinners for anywhere from 30 to 80 people sit-down or 50 to 150 people cocktail. Our event space renovations were completed in 2018 offering a modern and professional experience. We can cater for cocktail functions, buffets and sit down meals.
You are welcome to book live entertainment and DJ’s, decorate and theme this space however you wish. We have our own dancefloor and provide your skirting or linen requirements for your event. Parking is FREE and we are completely accessible for any disabled requirements. We have our courtesy bus to assist with your guests should they be staying in Cessnock or alternatively your guests could book into the Wine Country Motor Inn which is right next door.
If you just wanted to have a casual group booking for lunch or dinner you’re welcome to make a group reservation (maximum 30 people) in our Entice Bistro which has walk through access to our main lounge and bar.

FUNERALS & WAKES
Funerals, Wakes & Memorial Services are a difficult time for family and friends to go through. Cessnock Leagues Club Function Centre can make this time a little easier, by removing the hassle of organising many aspects of the wake or service including catering. Our professional and caring staff will make organising your Funeral, Wake or Memorial Service as simple and stress free as possible. We have a wide range of platters, hot & cold, along with room hire options available. We can arrange for a tea and coffee station and any audio visual requirements you may have.
