As an official Your Local Club Special Event Hub, Cessnock Leagues Club is THE PLACE to watch the NRL Vegas Round in 2025!
Join us on Sunday, March 2 to catch all of the action live on the big screens, with raffles, competitions, food and beverage promotions and more!

Along with our massive footy merchandise raffle, we’ll have Pass the Footy competitions with our NRL ambassador (TBA) throughout the day.

We’ll also have $6 schooners from selected brands throughout the event, and American-style food specials including hot dogs, loaded fries and spicy chicken wings.

9.30am: Doors open

10am: Event begins

10.30am: Tickets on sale for Footy Raffle – prizes include NRL jerseys and caps, Steeden footys and Cessnock Goannas merchandise

11am: NRL Game 1 – Canberra Raiders vs New Zealand Warriors

11.40am: Half-time ‘Pass the Footy’ comp with prize giveaways

1pm: International women’s game – Australian Jillaroos vs England Women’s Team

1.40pm: Half-time Pass the Footy comp – Beat the NRL star (guests will be given a lucky door ticket to go into the draw to face off against the NRL ambassador – first person to beat the NRL star wins a jersey)

2.45pm: Footy Raffle drawn

3.30pm: NRL Game 2 – Penrith Panthers vs Cronulla Sharks

5.30pm: Event concludes

Do you have a bit more time on your hands at the moment and have you been wanting to give back?
The Volunteer Expo is a morning tea with a purpose. Although the morning tea is the prime focus it is also an opportunity to informally connect with other seniors, who want to know more about becoming a volunteer and groups/organisations looking for volunteers.
